The 5910 permits spinning from 80 x 2 mL to 4 x 250 mL with the ST-720 swinging bucket rotor. In addition, the ST-410 swinging bucket rotor accepts sealing caps, permitting biohazard-proof usage.

In choosing a refrigerated centrifuge that is able to meet general-purpose applications requiring cooling, the 5910 is ideal. By exploiting its cooling capability, the 5910 can handle samples that are easily deactivated at normal temperature, thus saving valuable samples.
